Retired Lawyer and Therapist

After a long career as a lawyer, Nancie (she/her/hers) shifted gears to become a mental health care provider. She joined NCC as a clinical intern and stayed on as a therapist after she received her master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. Upon retiring from clinical practice, she continued to volunteer at NCC, providing workshops and teaching marriage preparation classes in addition to serving on the Board. Nancie and her husband Carl have six children and six grandchildren. She is passionate about mental health issues and social justice, and she enjoys reading, listening to music, yoga, and spending time outdoors.
