Barbara is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Oregon. She received a Master’s Degree from Creighton University and a certification from the Menninger Foundation in Family Therapy. She is a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors and the Oregon Mental Health Association.
Barbara states, “After 25 years of clinical practice, I firmly believe in the strength of my clients to overcome adversity, suffering and loss. My role is to help them tap into their strengths and create effective, practical ways of dealing with struggles they face.
My approach to therapy is cognitive behavioral. This leads to exploring and testing different and more successful ways of problem solving. My goal is to empower my clients with effective life skills.”
