Premarriage Program Do you want to do everything you can to ensure your dreams of a happy and lasting marriage? The Northwest Catholic Counseling Center provides opportunities for couples preparing for the most important relationship of their lives. Studies and research clearly indicate that couples participating in carefully designed premarital therapy create stronger and more satisfying relationships. For this reason, our staff provides the most up-to-date professional premarriage program. Three options are available:

Couple Sessions
The engaged couple will have the opportunity to discuss issues and needs specifically relevant to them. The FOCCUS Inventory is a premarriage tool that helps the couple identify areas of compatibility and strengths as well as areas of potential stress and conflict. Its purpose is to facilitate open and honest discussion so that the couple may constructively resolve areas of disagreement. These three one-hour sessions are individually scheduled with a therapist at your convenience.  $200 per couple.

Weekend Seminars
This option allows the couple to meet with other engaged couples in a group setting.  The seminar is team facilitated by both a man and woman therapist, providing a broad spectrum of experience. The program emphasizes skill building in the areas of communication and conflict management. In addition to other necessary skills, the class also presents an understanding of marriage as covenant.  

These classes meet on a Friday evening and all day Saturday.  $125 per couple.

Couple Sessions and Weekend Seminars
This is our most popular and most effective option. It includes all the elements of the classes and the couple sessions. It best helps the couple recognize specific patterns and trends in their relationship. $275 per couple.
