Paul Myers, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist. He is a part-time member of The Northwest Catholic Counseling Center and full-time director of the University Health Center at the University of Portland. He earned his masters and doctoral degrees from the University of Notre Dame. He is a fellow of the American College Health Association and past-president of the Pacific Coast College Health Association.
Paul works with individuals, couples and families. Paul’s years of prior work in community mental health and in the university setting have given him considerable experience in depression, anxiety, substance abuse issues, developmental and life transition concerns and relationship issues from trauma to conflict to communication skills training. “My approach to therapy is solution focused and cognitive/behavioral. I am a strong believer in empowering the client with information and encouragement to chart a path toward new responses to their changing circumstances.”
